For our people who desire to grow their own whole foods but don’t have the time or capacity to start their custom, kitchen garden from scratch. You’ve come to the right place!

Our custom design & installations handle all aspects of your kitchen garden installation including:

  • Removal of existing vegetation or hardscape

  • Construction and installation of raised beds

  • Installation of nutrient dense soil, plants, trellises, and plant tags

We take care of it all and leave you room to relax and enjoy your harvest! 

Our 4 Step Process

Consult

A 60 minute in-person meeting with our team to learn your gardening goals, assess your space, and clearly identify next steps.

*Virtual consultations are only available for clients who live outside of the NC Triangle area. A virtual walk through of the space you plan to build your garden is required.

Design

As a part of your consultation, our team will prepare a custom Garden Plan that includes: a custom kitchen garden sketch and an estimate for both materials and installation. Before we send your Garden Plan, you will let us know if you prefer a custom installation or DIY service.

Install

The day your garden dreams come to life! Your custom installation includes a walk through with an OB Garden Coach to show you what’s growing where and what steps you’ll take to care for your new plant babies. Times for install completion may vary depending on the size of the installation. Installations typically begin 2-4 weeks after you’ve made a 50% deposit.

Sustain

This is your time to enjoy the literal fruits, roots, and leaves of your OB kitchen garden. While doing so, you may need a little support from us along the way. We offer our clients monthly and quarterly maintenance packages that help to build habits of consistency in sustaining a thriving kitchen garden. Most of our clients choose a quarterly service for new compost and plants at the start of each season.

As a part of your consultation, you’ll receive:

  • A professional conceptual drawing of your kitchen garden

  • A plant guide and Garden Plan for your new garden for up to 70 square feet of planting space

  • Estimates for your turnkey installation or DIY kits

  • A 30-minute follow-up call to answer any questions and provide clarification for next steps.
